About the service
Pest control services involve the management and eradication of unwanted organisms, often referred to as pests, that pose risks to human health, property, agriculture, and the environment. These services aim to effectively eliminate or control pest populations while minimizing harm to non-target species and ecosystems.
Key elements of pest control services include:
Identification: Thoroughly identifying the type of pest is crucial for determining the appropriate control methods and strategies.
Assessment: Evaluating the extent of the infestation or problem helps in devising a tailored pest management plan.
Integrated Pest Management (IPM): IPM is a holistic approach that combines various techniques, such as biological control, habitat modification, chemical treatments, and cultural practices, to manage pests in a balanced and sustainable manner.
Prevention: Emphasis is placed on preventing pest infestations through practices like proper sanitation, sealing entry points, and minimizing attractants.
Selective Use of Pesticides: When chemical treatments are necessary, pest control services prioritize the use of targeted, low-toxicity pesticides, and apply them in a precise manner to reduce collateral damage.
Regular Monitoring: Continuous monitoring helps track the success of control measures and detects any new infestations early.
Environmental Considerations: Responsible pest control services aim to minimize impacts on non-target organisms and ecosystems while addressing the target pests.
Client Education: Educating clients about practices that discourage pest presence and the importance of ongoing maintenance can contribute to long-term success.
Overall, pest control services strive to strike a balance between effectively managing pest populations and protecting human health, the environment, and non-target species.
Pests we can help control on your property include:
Ants, Carpenter bees, Wasp and Hornet nests, Mosquitoes, Centipedes, Cluster Flies, Earwigs, House Flies, Powder Post Beetles, Silverfish, Spiders, Rodents, Ticks and more!
How it works:
For single visit treatments we will inspect the property to determine what type of pest management strategy will be best for your unique needs. Our technicians will treat the property and home for the identified problem pest and make recommendations for follow up treatments if needed.
For year-round coverage we visit 3 times a year. Each treatment will significantly reduce the population of spiders, wasps, hornets, ants, earwigs and centipedes inside, outside and around your home. Rodent control is available with this service as well if needed.
